AboutBuilt by the engineers companies call when it breaks.
Erzon exists because the most valuable engineering hour is the one during an outage, and most businesses can't staff for it. We made that hour buyable.
Where we come from
Erzon is powered by Webisoft, a Montreal software engineering firm that has spent years building and rescuing production systems, the databases, pipelines, and applications that businesses actually run on. A pattern kept repeating: the most urgent calls weren't "build us something new." They were it's down, it's slow, it's corrupting data, our engineer left and nobody understands it.
Those calls deserved a front door of their own. Erzon is that door: Webisoft's senior engineering bench, packaged as a service you can engage in an hour instead of a quarter.
The philosophy.
Fix fast
During an incident, speed is the deliverable. That means senior engineers only, people who have seen this failure class before. It also means stabilize first: stop the damage, then fix the fault, in that order, always.
Explain why
A fix without an explanation is a coin flip on recurrence. Every engagement ends in a written root-cause report, plain enough for a founder, precise enough for an engineer. If you can't explain why it broke, you haven't fixed it; you've postponed it.
Prevent recurrence
The real product isn't the fix, it's the class of failure being closed. Every report ends with a prioritized prevention list, and the retainer exists for teams that want those items handled rather than filed.
The operating principles.
- Honesty at triage. If we can't help, or you don't actually need us, we say so before you spend anything. A reputation for honest triage is worth more than any single engagement.
- Your systems stay yours. Fixes land in your repos and your infrastructure, through your review process, fully documented. We build no dependency on us, which, we've noticed, is exactly why clients come back.
- No fear-selling. You will never get a scare report or an upsell dressed as an emergency. The situation is stressful enough; our job is to be the calmest people in it.
- Evidence over opinion. Diagnosis works from logs, metrics, traces, and reproduction, not vibes. When we're not sure yet, we say "not sure yet," and then we find out.
Who you'll work with
Senior engineers from Webisoft's bench, people who have carried pagers, run production databases, unwound bad deploys, and debugged the 2 a.m. failures across the stacks businesses actually use. When you book a fix, the person who replies is the person who can fix it. No account managers translating between you and the work.
The honest version
Erzon is a new brand, and we'd rather tell you that than perform otherwise. What's behind it isn't new: Webisoft's engineering practice, years of production work, and a bench that has solved these failures many times under other letterheads. We're earning the Erzon name one incident at a time, which means your incident gets the kind of attention companies buy their way into elsewhere.
Before you trust us with production.
Who actually does the work when I book a fix?
Senior engineers from Webisoft's bench: people who have carried pagers, run production databases, and unwound bad deploys across the stacks businesses actually use. The person who replies to your triage request is the person who can fix the problem. There are no account managers between you and the work, and no juniors learning on your outage.
Where is Erzon based?
Montreal, Canada, where our parent firm Webisoft has run its software engineering practice for years. We work remotely in your systems, so geography rarely matters to a fix; what matters is that there is a real firm behind the brand, with a bench you can meet on the first call.
Erzon is a new brand. Why should we trust it with production?
Because the brand is new and the practice is not: Webisoft's engineers have been solving exactly these failures for years under other letterheads. We also structure the engagement so trust is earned rather than assumed: free triage, a flat quote before work starts, least-privilege logged access, and everything documented in your own repos and infrastructure. Judge us by the first reply.
What happens to us if Erzon disappears tomorrow?
Nothing, by design. Every change lands in your accounts, through your review process, fully documented, and the root-cause report means the incident's whole story exists in writing that any competent engineer can pick up. We deliberately build no dependency on ourselves, which is exactly why clients come back by choice.
Meet us during triage, it's free.
Describe your problem. Judge us by the quality of the first reply.
